There is so much to celebrate in life and every day is one to be savored and enjoyed. That is our philosophy and it becomes apparent to anyone that attends a European Home party! Sometimes we have small, quiet affairs - for someone's birthday or Valentines day, for instance. On other occasions, like the 4th of July or Oktoberfest, we get everyone together from all the homes and then invite the families and friends to join us!
All parties feature lots of decorations (some of which our residents help to make), a delicious abundance of food, and live entertainment. Of course, there is the granddaddy of all parties - our Christmas party. Even if you don't celebrate the religious meaning of this holiday, you will not be able to resist the warm tidings of the season for celebration and getting together. Santa comes to visit with lots of presents for the residents - and even some for their families. The dining table groans under the weight of all the food, live music and singing rings thru the house, and the decorations are breath taking. You won't believe it until you see it for yourself! Sometimes we just find it too long between holidays, so we throw in a western themed party or Hawaiian Luau just for fun! We also invite some local talent to come in and perform for us on occasion.
